One day, a curious customer asked him:
- What makes you so smart?
- Normally I don"t reveal this secret! - Green whispered - But since you"re a regular customer, I"ll tell you. Fish head, the more you eat, the smarter you will be.
The customer excitedly asked:
- So do you sell fish heads?
- Yes! - Green happily replied - 4 dollars each.
The customer bought 3 pieces. A week later, he returned to the store to complain:
- Those fish heads don"t taste like anything, and I don"t feel any smarter after eating them!
Green calmly replied:
- That"s because you didn"t eat enough. You have to eat a lot to get wise.
The customer continued to buy 20 more fish heads. A week later, he came back and shouted:
- What do you think, selling me a fish head for 4 dollars? Meanwhile, for 2 dollars I can buy a whole big fish. Are you lying to me?
Hearing that, Green burst out laughing:
- There, you"re starting to get smarter!
- !?!
